Telekom Austria Group Introduces New Tariff Structure for A1

Today the Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) announces that its Austrian subsidiary A1 will introduce a new smartphone tariff structure for new customers as of 2 April 2013.

In line with the strategy of A1, the new smartphone tariff structure targets the high value customer segment. Moreover, it reflects the trend towards strong data growth and an increasing saturation of demand for traditional voice and SMS services:

  • A1 GO S:Monthly fee: EUR 39.90 (EUR 29.90 during promotion period); unlimited voice minutes and SMS; 1 GB of data
  • A1 GO M:Monthly fee: EUR 49.90 (EUR 39.90 during promotion period); unlimited voice minutes and SMS; 3 GB of data; 30 international units*
  • A1 GO L: Monthly fee: EUR 69.90 (EUR 59.90 during promotion period); unlimited voice minutes and SMS; 5 GB of data; 100 international units*


The new tariffs include 5 GB, 30 GB and 50 GB respectively of online storage capacity.

In addition, the following entry level tariff will be offered:

  • A1 Basic: Monthly fee: EUR 24.90 (EUR 19.90 during promotion period); 1000 units (voice minutes or SMS); 100 MB of data



* International units are voice minutes, SMS and MB of data.
