On 1 September 2025, Jiří Dvorjančanský will become the new CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of A1 Austria. Marcus Grausam will not renew his Management Board contract and will leave the company in September at his own request after 27 years.
“Despite a challenging macro and market environment, we started 2025 with a solid performance. In the first quarter, revenue growth was 3.7%, driven by higher service and equipment revenues. In the mobile business, our customer base grew by more than 8% with a robust increase in the M2M Business."

Alejandro Plater, CEO of A1 Group, on the highlights of 2024:

“We delivered robust operational and financial results in 2024. Group revenues rose by 3.1% to EUR 5.41 billion driven by service revenue growth. EBITDA increased by 5.1%, exceeding 2 billion for the first time. Net result for 2024 was EUR 627 million. These results were largely driven by significant growth in the international markets.

“A1 Group has achieved a significant milestone in its climate action commitment: the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has officially validated our ambitious Net Zero targets. This confirmation strengthens our path towards a more sustainable future and establishes us as a pioneer in the telecommunications industry on the journey to climate neutrality”, says Thomas Arnoldner, Deputy CEO of A1 Group.
