Ad-hoc: Telekom Austria Group Intends to Place a Euro-Denominated Hybrid Bond

Vienna, January 24, 2012 - Following the announcement and completion of a pan-European roadshow, Telekom Austria AG (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today intends to place a Euro-denominated hybrid bond offering of benchmark size. The first call date will be on 1 February 2018. The bonds are expected to be rated Baa3 by Moody’s and BB+ by S&P.
