A1 was voted Austria's best mobile communications network operator by over 60,000 readers of the renowned trade magazine "connect". After 2011 the domestic market leader came in 1st once again.
Vienna, June 11, 2012: Each year the well-known trade magazine "connect" calls for participation in Europe's largest reader's choice vote in the telecommunication sector. The readers are called upon to vote for the best networks, services and products of the year in over 25 categories: from the best mobile communications network operator in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to the best navigation. This year over 60,000 competent readers of the largest German-language industry medium put in their votes for the coveted prizes. After 2011, this year once again A1 got first place in the category "Austrian Mobile Communications Network Operator".
Marcus Grausam, A1 CTO, attended the ceremony in Stuttgart, where he accepted the prize among top representatives of the telecommunications industry from the DACH region.
