Appointment of CFO Hans Tschuden ends on 31 May 2014

Today the Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) announces that the supervisory board of Telekom Austria Group and Chief Financial Officer Hans Tschuden have agreed to prematurely dissolve his contract by 31 May 2014 and therefore after the annual general meeting for the year 2013. The supervisory board will announce its decision on a successor in a timely manner.

"I would like to thank Hans Tschuden for his strong contribution during his many years as CFO of Telekom Austria Group in particular for his role during the growth phase of the company. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours", says Rudolf Kemler, chairman of the supervisory board of Telekom Austria Group.

Hans Tschuden has been Chief Financial Officer of Telekom Austria AG since 1 April 2007 and was appointed Vice Chairman of the Management Board of Telekom Austria AG on 1 January 2009.

Hans Tschuden was named Austria's leading CFO twice consecutively in the Thomson Reuters 'Extel Awards' in 2012 and 2013.
