In the Global State of Mobile Experience published today by the crowdsourcing company Tutela, the experiences of mobile users worldwide were evaluated. A1 Austria is among the top ten mobile operators globally in both the "Best Mobile Experience" and "Best Video Experience" categories. For the report, operators from 30 countries were tested and over two billion network tests were conducted by more than 830 million mobile users.
A1 invests around half a billion euros a year in Austria's digital infrastructure and is expanding the 5G network at top speed, which is paying off and this top performance is reflected in the ranking. Almost 60% of the Austrian population is already covered by 5G.
In its annual "Global State of Mobile Experience" report, Tutela analyzes both the general experience of mobile users worldwide and the quality of their use of video services.
As part of the report, Tutela describes the need for robust and reliable mobile networks: "With further growth in consumption forecast, it is essential for mobile network operators to provide a robust and reliable network. As demand has increased, especially for use cases such as video conferencing, streaming and gaming, customer expectations have also evolved. Customers want a holistic experience that is not only fast, but also seamless and without interruptions."
