Alejandro Plater, CEO of A1 Group, on the highlights of 2025:
“In 2025 our growth continued and we achieved a very solid operational and financial performance. Group revenues increased by 3.0% to EUR 5.58 billion, driven by growth in service and equipment revenues. EBITDA grew by 3.7% (2.0% reported), surpassing EUR 2 billion for the second time. Net result reached EUR 613 million.
The B2B Delivery Center, launched in 2025, delivers specialized services such as Security, Cloud, and Managed IT for all markets. This allows us to meet the rising demand flexibly and with top quality. Very encouraging: 40% of our growth now comes from new business areas that did not even exist a few years ago.
For 2026 we expect a total revenue growth of 2-3% and CAPEX (excluding spectrum investments) of around EUR 750 million. Consistent with our dividend policy, the Management Board proposes an increased dividend of EUR 0.42 per share at the Annual General Meeting, subject to Supervisory Board approval."
Thomas Arnoldner, Deputy CEO of A1 Group, adds:
“In mobile communications, the number of subscribers exceeded 30 million for the first time – a growth of 11.3%, driven mainly by the M2M segment. In the fixed-line business, the number of RGUs (revenue-generating units) rose by 1.7% year-on-year.
The CEE markets were very successful with 8.8% revenue growth. On Group-level, the ICT business developed well with a strong gross revenue growth rate of 20% (yoy).
In Austria we saw a highly competitive and challenging environment which we addressed with targeted investments, focused customer segmentation, strict cost control and constant transformation to ensure relevance for our customers – this will continue in 2026. We will also proceed with the expansion of the fiber and 5G networks, both in Austria and internationally.”
