The credit rating of A1 Telekom Austria Group has been upgraded by Standard & Poor’s (S&P) to A- with a stable outlook. This puts the company in an exclusive group of only four European A- rated telecommunication companies. The improved rating reflects the Group’s strong operating performance and prudent financial policies. The stable outlook is based on the expectation that A1 Telekom Austria Group will adhere to its prudent financial policy.
The members of the Management Board, Thomas Arnoldner, Alejandro Plater and Siegfried Mayrhofer, agree: “The best S&P rating in Telekom Austria's history is the result of many years of effort and discipline. In a challenging environment, the strong rating gives our creditors and business partners additional confidence in our financial standing.”
