A1 Telekom Austria Group: Croatian subsidiary now “officially” a member of the A1 “brand family”

  • Croatian subsidiary Vipnet now operating under the brand name A1 Croatia
  • Systematic implementation of A1 Telekom Austria Group’s single brand strategy continues
  • Further milestone in roll-out of A1 brand across the Group’s entire operating business in accordance with local market conditions

In a step announced back in mid July, the Croatian subsidiary of the A1 Telekom Austria Group is rebranded as A1 Croatia as of 1 October 2018. This marks another important milestone in the systematic implementation of the Group’s single brand strategy. On 20 September 2017 the Group had announced (“ad hoc”) its intention to gradually extend the A1 brand to its entire operating business when local market conditions are right. Most recently, the Bulgarian subsidiary was rebranded as A1 Bulgaria on 22 May. Prior to that, the A1 brand was implemented in the Slovenian market (A1 Slovenia) and at A1 Digital as well as in the international Group brand A1 Telekom Austria Group.
