A1 has won the GCCM Award 2019 with an international IoT project. By transmitting telemetry data, information about breakdowns and emergency calls A1 is making mobility simpler and safer. In addition, drivers also benefit from information, enhanced navigation and in-vehicle entertainment. The winning project is based on A1 SIM cards that can be used globally thanks to the competitive roaming footprint of the A1 Telekom Austria Group, platforms for providers and customers, and compliance with all regional requirements.
