The A1 Telekom Austria Group has joined the European cloud infrastructure initiative Structura-X. The Group is thus involved within Gaia-X, with its subsidiary A1 Digital and the cloud solution Exoscale, in a further project to strengthen European cloud providers.
Structura-X was launched by European cloud providers on the sidelines of the Milan Gaia-X Summit. The lighthouse project Structura-X aims to implement Gaia-X standards for infrastructure services. A total of 28 companies and organizations from 10 countries have already committed to this initiative since its inception in November 2021.
In addition to the A1 Group with Exoscale, companies such as AssoSoftware, City Network, Cloud&Heat Technologies, CS Group, CSI, EBRC, Elmec, Fabasoft, International Dataspaces, IONOS SE, KPN, Luxinnovation, Mainstream, next layer, OpenNebula Systems, OSISM, ThreeFold Tech, Tietoevry, United Group, Vivacom, are already part of Structura-X.

With Exoscale, we already offer a European solution to enable companies to host their IT workloads in a GDPR-compliant manner. The new project will further strengthen the European cloud market and data sovereignty.
